User Experience / Human Experience Intern - Fall Semester 2021 Location: Kohler, WIOpportunityAs a Human Experience / User Experience Intern you will participate in the creation of innovative product solutions, concepts, services, experiences, and human interfaces by utilizing best practices. The position will focus on understanding how people interact with products, environments, and experiences. This function will collaborate with cross functional teams: industrial design, manufacturing, marketing, and engineering. The goal will be to create products that improve the level of gracious living for our customers.Work with senior Human Experience personnel to aid in the development of new products as well as ongoing changes of existing products. Participate in design critiques of existing products, competitive products, and new concepts. Assist in usability and human factors studies. This includes existing products, mock-ups, and prototypes. Assist in creating UX deliverables: wireframes, logic maps, interactive prototypes, and GUI. Develop appropriate outputs from findings to be used by internal and/or field personnel. Skills/RequirementsJunior or senior level in accredited school or college of Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Ergonomics, Applied Psychology, Computer Science, Cognitive Sciences, Biomechanics, Physiology, or any related fields.
