Job Description Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Quality Assurance - Process Management Intern to join us for the summer.?You will join the Quality Engineer team and assist with the adoption and future operations for our product and technology departments. You will also leverage best practices to provide quality information, ensuring consistent reporting on quality metrics working with quality assurance tools and technology. Applied's internships are full-time, Monday through Friday positions, that run from May to August. Start dates and end dates are determined by both the department and the intern's availability. These internships will be 100% remote and interested applicants must reside in the United States or Canada. Equipment is provided for the internship program. RESPONSIBILITIES * Learn about Applied Systems as a company, its business objectives, and its technology * Revise and standardize documentation in JIRA and Confluence around quality reporting * Assist with ongoing and new operations for product and technology departments, providing consistent reporting on quality metrics * Take on new projects revolved around process and project management * Additional project responsibilities, focused in providing exceptional quality assurance QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS INTERNSHIP * Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent * Must be enrolled full-time at the college/university level for the Fall 2021 semester * Exceptional communication and writing skills * Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and concepts * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment * Detail-oriented; self-motivated, able to work independently * Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday * Internships run from May to August * Ability to work 100% remotely * Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship WHO WE ARE * LEADING GLOBAL PROVIDER OF CLOUD-BASED INSURANCE SOFTWARE- Applied Systems develops the top two Insurance Agency/Broker Management software products in the world.
