Receiver

Receivers unpack cartons from publishers so the books can be placed in inventory and shipped to libraries worldwide. Standing & lifting required, production incentive available.

Available shift: 1st

Book Processor

The Book Processor transforms books into library books by attaching labels, book pockets, protective covers, and more to each book according to each customer's specific instructions. Work is done at the Processor’s personal workstation and can be done standing or seated. Position includes a production incentive plan.

Available shifts: 1st, 2nd, and part time

• Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours a day

Order Picker

Pickers walk the aisles to pick books from shelves to fill customer orders. Extensive walking required; production incentive available.

Shipper/Packer

Shippers/Packers pack books into cartons, stack cartons on pallets, and load cartons and pallets into trailers for shipment. Standing and lifting required, production incentive available.

QA/Support Clerks

Support Clerks provide various support functions for the Book Processing team including distribution of replacement books, trimming of lamination, etc. Standing and walking required.

QA check orders prior to packing to ensure the correct books were picked and, where applicable, processed according to the customer’s specifications. Standing required.
