Positions:
Stock Selector (Night Warehouse)
Stock Selector is scheduled to work five nights a week (Sunday to Thursday)
Responsibilities include:
Select specific merchandise from stock in the warehouse to fill our customer orders
Mark product with identifying labels.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in proper sequence.
Operate pallet jack to proceed to correct slot location, and to transport product to dock area for staging.
Report merchandise slots needing replenishing
Delivery Driver – Class A
Delivery Driver is scheduled to work five days per week (Monday through Saturday)
Drivers depart from and return to Sysco in Jackson
Very fast-paced and physically demanding position.
Responsibilities include:
Safely drive a 28’-48’ tractor-trailer for the purpose of delivering various types of product (frozen, chilled and dry) to Sysco customers according to route schedule and specific timelines.
Unload and transport product into the customer’s facility, either by hand or utilizing a two-wheeler or hand truck.
Maintain positive customer relations.
May collect money from customers if instructed, write credits, or pick up backhaul or returned products when required.
Requirements:
Class “A” CDL with a good driving record:
No DUI/DWI/OWI within the last 5 yrs (or multiples in the last 10 years).
Limited moving violations + no multiple D.O.T. recordables in the last 3 years.
Certified to operate in interstate commerce
