POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Math Teacher is responsible for creating a supportive, empowering learning environment for adult learners and delivering quality content area instruction in mathematics.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Atmosphere is professional, friendly and supportive. Our staff values both teamwork and independence. We encourage creativity and the sharing of ideas. The noise level in the work environment is conducive to a typical office setting.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position is currently working a hybrid model; telework and on site. Schedule will be determined by Senior Leadership. To ensure the health and safety of our community AoH requires COVID-19 vaccinations for staff.
Academy of Home (AoH) Adult Public Charter School was founded in 1985 to serve low-income and at-risk adults in the District of Columbia by providing them the opportunity to improve their basic educational skills, earn high school credentials, and/or prepare for postsecondary education or training.
