Job Description:

Major job responsibilities:
- Manage Corporate Audit System/Process
- Perform Internal Audits, company-wide
- Support QMS certification process
- Support 3rd-party (Registrar/Customer) audits worldwide
- Support integration activities related to company acquisitions into Microchip's QMS

Support customer specific requirements and problem-solving activities.
- Work to resolve product and process related quality issues
- Interface with Internal Manufacturing Facilities, Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales, and customers to identify root cause and implement Corrective Actions

Support Continuous Improvement activities which may include but are not limited to:
- Interfacing with new product development teams and proposing system/process improvements
- Work with company functions to review procedures/systems for potential improvements
- Develop as-is and to-be process maps
- Identify and support key initiatives for achieving zero defects

Interact with sensitivity and awareness to globally and culturally diverse personnel

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Masters preferred.
- 0-3 years of work experience preferably in an electrical/electronic field.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented team player
- Basic knowledge of statistical concepts (e.g. SPC, DOE, Regression Analysis, MSA, etc.)
- Problem solving skills with the ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations and/or data requires an in-depth evaluation
- Possess excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Ability to travel domestically and internationally


Preferred skills:
Have general knowledge of electronics and/or semiconductors
Knowledge of Quality Management System Standards (e.g. ISO9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 etc.)
