The
Department of Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center
is seeking an experienced Pediatric Pulmonologist to serve as Division Chief. Rank and track will be dependent on
experience. The incumbent will have a proven record of accomplishment in
leadership, clinical excellence, patient care, education, and mentorship in
order to develop the Division in all of its mission areas. We are offering a full-time position ideally
suited to the BC pediatric pulmonologist who wishes to practice medicine in a
clinical/academic climate with the assistance of a skilled multidisciplinary
team in a state with a diverse population. The pulmonary division at UNM is a
dynamic academic program with clinical, teaching and research activities. We
are an accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center. The UNM Children's Hospital is the tertiary referral center for New
Mexico. Additional programs include asthma, rural outreach, pulmonary telehealth,
pediatric sleep, chronic ventilation, and bronchoscopy. Opportunities exist for
research, community advocacy, education, and expansion of our already thriving
clinical programs.
