What's involved in this role:

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk in Lake Norden, SD.

• Ship out-going products by ensuring accuracy of order as compared to actual Sales Order; ensure each order has documentation (e.g., packing slip, C of A, and any foreign documentation that may be needed); enter appropriate information into computer system.

• Prepare all related paperwork required for out-bound shipments; includes but is not limited to bills-of-lading, packing slips, special instructions, labels, reports, etc.

• Check orders and customer notes to ensure accuracy and that the Quality Department has approved product for shipment.

• Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

• Starting pay $18.08/hourdepending on experience

What you need to join our team:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment required.

• Shipping and/or receiving experience preferred.

• Data entry

• Proficient in Microsoft office tools.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Demonstrate attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.

• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.

• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

• Our Lake Norden, SD, plant is home to about 400 employees and boasts a brand new, state-of-the-art cheese and whey facility. The facility produces monterey jack, muenster, asiago, mozzarella, parmesan, provolone, cheddar and romano cheeses, as well as various whey streams.
