As a Warehouse Associate, you will fulfill daily customer orders within the assigned area of the warehouse. This position will be required to proficiently perform at least one or more distribution-related activity (e.g. receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, shipping,) on a regular basis.

What you will do as a Warehouse Shop Associate:

• Measurement of raw materials to ensure correct production materials;
• Inspection of machinery before use, notifying supervisor of any concerns or issues;
• Safe operation of all machinery used for manufacturing;
• Visual inspection of finished product to ensure quality;
• Tagging raw and finished product correctly;
• Operation of forklifts for moving raw and finished materials;
• Following all safety guidelines and instructions;
• Maintaining compliance with Wurth House of Threads' Business Management System (ISO);
• Other duties as assigned.

What you need to be a Warehouse Shop Associate:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math and reading ability in weight counting, using a tape measure, scale and calculator to measure parts for production
• Strong attention to detail and ability to fill orders accurately
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to learn production processes quickly
• High level of commitment to safety
• Ability to work as a team member in achieving branch goals
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified
• Ability to lift and move 40-50 pounds regularly, up to 60 pounds occasionally
