Proposal Coordinator

The Opportunity:

The proposal process is the backbone of government consulting. As a Proposal Coordinator, you know the organization's ability to win contracts is largely based on your efforts. We need a proposal expert like you to use your contract management, communication, and strategic planning skills in our proposal development process, where you'll make a highly visible impact.

On our industry-leading team, you'll work with the capture and proposal managers to ensure efficient delivery of the proposal response as well as uphold a welcoming environment for multiple stakeholders to ensure effective proposal kick-off and submission. Assist the Proposal Manager with proposal plans, outlines, storyboard layouts, schedules, and assignments. Create and maintain a proposal schedule and list of POCs, facilitate communication and setting up meetings, take meeting notes and action items, oversee document management, and maintain the proposal development Microsoft Teams site. Coordinate various simultaneous activities, including content data calls and collection, graphics development, editing, compliance, and production efforts, track the status of proposal deliverables, and help the Proposal Manager ensure the team meets all deadlines and status is consistently reported and monitored. Maintain good communication with and serve as a central point of contact for interactions with team, teammates, and proposal staff regarding data calls for all narrative volumes and review participation. Engage and influence firm and senior market, capture, and proposal leadership to implement processes that continually increase proposal development efficiencies, thus increasing the quality of delivered proposals.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment

  • Experience with the development of complex documents, whitepapers, and artifacts

  • Ability to plan and coordinate proposal resources, including people and schedule, analyze the budget, and communicate status regularly to proposal managers and firm leadership

  • Ability to produce schedules, templates, and proposal documentation using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with leading and coordinating diverse teams from various organizational levels from the prime, subcontractor, and consultant businesses

  • Experience working closely with business area operations, business development leads, and pricing leads to ensure the coordination of technical, management, and cost and price strategies

  • Experience with defined business development processes, including phases and gates

  • Experience with training others to perform the proposal coordinator role

  • Knowledge of the federal procurement process

  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
