Director, Enabling Technologies - Guidewire Configuration, PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, Chicago, IL. Oversee the implementation of Guidewire solutions to insurance and financial services industry clients. Assist clients with technical solutions designed to streamline their business process and help them respond to complex business challenges. Design and implement technical solutions used across finance, operations, and human capital sectors, and advise clients on industry-specific business applications. Understand various application-based solutions in specific modules, as well as the common industry issues facing clients. Collaborate with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients. Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

-         Designing, building, testing and deploying technical solutions across various applications, including assisting with technical efforts that involve the development, design, implementation and support of business processes;

-         Designing and implementing Guidewire software solutions;

-         Implementing system configurations within any one or more of the following areas within the Insurance industry: Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, Contact Center or Portal;

-         Utilizing Web service hosting and consuming, using Guidewire studio toolkits and/ or Java; and

-         Utilizing XML, ANT, or MAVEN and code repository such as Clear Case, SVN, or TFS.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
