Job Description

Danfoss in Easley, SC is searching for a Safety, Environment & Health Intern. The SEH Intern will be responsible for supporting the SEH Leader withimproving the SEH activities and ensuring compliance with ISO standards (14001 and 45001) and government regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

    • Specific project to develop a SharePoint with all Safety, Environment and Health related information.
    • Assist in SEH project management, task allocation and scheduling.
    • Support the Safety Walks and proactive risk assessment on the job/duties on the floor (in daily basis);
    • Be responsible to develop and maintain legal and obligations compliance as a part of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards;
    • Monthly based reporting and general administrative tasks;
    • Be responsible for rack inspection management (monthly and annual inspections);
    • Assist in GIMS (Incident Data Report) entry, monitoring and accuracy;

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering. Graduate students preferred.
    • Experience with Safety, Environment and Health.
    • Ideal candidate will be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week for the Summer + Fall semester.
    • Able to interact with all levels of organization (Shop floor to Management).
    • High skilled experience with Microsoft Office and apps (i.e.: MS Teams, Power apps, SharePoint development, Microsoft Planner, etc.).
    • Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the work location.
