About the Role:

Responsible for the development, growth, and management of a diverse portfolio of acquiring and money movement products. The Director will build products and capabilities by developing new ideas based on industry research, product performance, and proactively gathering feedback from customers, B2B partners, and prospects. Lead initiatives with project management, business resources, and development counterparts to define products, create requirements balancing cross-functional needs and capabilities, build and launch projects, and then make ongoing adjustments and improvements based on results. Lead relationship management with key vendors and partners.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to go to market execution and ongoing enhancements.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Define and communicate a clear product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution.
  • Develop business cases and then secure cross-functional and senior management agreement and buy-in for new product opportunities and enhancements to existing products, services and technology.
  • Sponsor the build and launch phases of product development with project management, technologies, operations, compliance, sales, marketing, and other key areas, as well as external vendors and partners. Ensure results are achieved through active project monitoring and management, adjusting scope/approach, and overcoming obstacles and challenges.
  • Partner with marketing services to define go-to-market strategy and drive understanding of product positioning, pricing, key benefits, and target customer.
  • Cultivate productive relationships with key employees in cross-functional departments; ensure their needs and capabilities are understood, and then develop and maintain optimal approaches to initiatives with their aggregate buy-in, given their differing and sometimes conflicting needs.
  • Actively manage budget and variances for products and projects.
  • Manage ongoing performance of products and capabilities by identifying key performance indicators, monitoring results/consumer feedback/industry actions, and leading ongoing team initiatives to develop recommendations and implement actions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of product line managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive professional growth and development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including experience in successfully communicating with senior executives.
  • Track record for developing strategy, implementing new products/services/distribution channels/servicing, and monitoring/optimizing products.
  • Able to influence large cross-functional team of 10-20 functional areas and determine optimal solutions based on differing needs, capabilities, and resources.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and risk management practices in the financial services industry.
  • Prior industry experience within Merchant Acquiring and Money Movement space required.

Salary range: $99,501.91 - $183,764.31

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
