Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver I to be based out of Pendleton, Oregon. Reporting to Shipping Manager, the Shipper / Receiver I will be responsible for pulling orders, stock fitting shelves; loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse are and making sure the product is secure and safe.

What you'll do:

Shipper / Receiver I's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow plant safety rules and procedures while wearing proper PPE while in the yard and loading/unloading trucks.
• Ability to locate, accurately count, and package products for shipment.
• Package, palletize and bundle product for shipment using means appropriate for method of transportation.
• Proficient with all types of material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks and banders.
• Packaging accuracy must be at or exceed an acceptable level.
• Perform general warehouse duties and cleanup.

What you'll bring:

• Ability to work in a safely and efficient manner in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Complete any required training.
• Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
• You will be immersed into the Atkore Safety Culture.
