MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related fieldORhigh school diploma or equivalent and 10 years' experience in facility operations and maintenance and/or safety and security and/or environmental services.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Five (5) years' experience in facility operations and maintenance and/or safety and security and/or environmental services.
2. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

1. Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field
EXPERIENCE:
1. Seven (7) years' experience in facility operations and maintenance and/or safety and security and/or environmental services.
2. One (2) years of supervisory experience.

1. Manage and oversee the operations and staff of facilities, environmental services, and security.
2. Develop and manage day-to-day operation of a process for maintenance of all building, grounds, and infrastructure systems.
3. Oversee the development of an effective construction project planning and management program.
4. Develop and manage a process to assure continuous compliance with accreditation, environmental, fire safety, licensure, and other codes, regulations, and standards
5. Participate as a member of the Environment of Care, Infection Control, Operational Excellence, and Quality and Patient Safety Committees
6. Ensure that qualified staff are hired and trained to provide competent care through development, implementation and ongoing support of appropriate competency-based orientation, education, and evaluation programs
7. Develop annual and capital budgets to assure availability of staff and equipment resources required to effectively operate and maintain the building, grounds, and infrastructure.
8. Coordinate maintenance service contracts and supplemental use of contractors to generate maximum added value to overall operating costs.
9. Facilitate the development of departmental policies and procedures as required by JCAHO, OSHA, and Federal and State and local agencies
10. Provide documentation and maintains a Preventative Maintenance program of accountable equipment, which complies with National, State,andlocal regulations
11. Ensure that established infection control and universal practices are followed in the Housekeeping/Laundry as some tasks may involve exposure to blood/body fluids.
12. Coordinate housekeeping activities for all campus and remote sites.
