  • Empowerment Through Consultation: Tailor your consultation services to meet the unique needs of each school, empowering growth and stability through personalized support.

  • Expert Guidance: Provide invaluable guidance to school district leaders, offering insights from both schoolwide and student-specific perspectives to foster an effective educational environment.

  • Innovative Interventions: Lead the charge in designing and implementing evidence-based interventions that adapt to the evolving needs of students and schools, driving positive educational outcomes through creativity and innovation.

  • Collaboration with IEP Teams: Work closely with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to ensure seamless coordination and effective programming that meets the diverse needs of all students.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Champion effective data collection, monitoring, and analysis at both the schoolwide and student levels, leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.

  • Functional Behavior Assessments and Positive Behavior Support: Guide teams in conducting thorough Functional Behavior Assessments and developing comprehensive Positive Behavior Support Plans, promoting a proactive approach to behavior management and student support.

  • Crisis Intervention: Serve as a steadfast source of support during challenging times, offering timely crisis intervention strategies, conducting effective assessments, and providing unwavering support when it's needed most.

Your Skills and Talents: A Winning Combination!

  • Advanced Education and Licensure: Hold a Doctorate or Master's degree in Education, Psychology or related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred.

  • Extensive Experience: Bring a wealth of experience to the table with at least five years working in an educational leadership or a consulting role.

  • Educational Credentials: Possess or be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania Professional Educator's Certification in School Counseling, School Psychology or Special Education ensuring compliance with state regulations.

  • Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License: Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license according to the Pennsylvania requirements.

  • Proficiency in MTSS/RTI: Display considerable knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and behavior interventions.

  • Understanding of Educational Trends: Stay abreast of current local, state, national, and global trends in school counseling, ensuring alignment with best practices.

  • Records Management: Possess considerable expertise in the maintenance, storage, and access of student records, including familiarity with related policies and procedures.

  • Technological Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Apps, and other relevant software tools.

  • Leadership in Cultural Proficiency: Demonstrate leadership in establishing culturally proficient systems of support for practitioners, educators, students, and parents.

  • Strategic Planning Skills: Showcase effective strategic planning skills and experience supporting systems-level improvement initiatives.

  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Possess strong time management and organizational skills, enabling efficient handling of responsibilities.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrate strategic problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively and drive positive outcomes.

  • Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure effective collaboration and feedback.

  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents, community groups, vendors, external agencies, and the public
