POSITION SUMMARY
An ECM Coordinator supports department staff with administrative tasks related to a member's medical condition(s), department case work, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and manage audits.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Delegating tasks to the appropriate department team members
System documentation for the Case Management, Enhanced Case Management, and Clinical teams
Manage basic benefit and case management status questions received from the internal Allied stakeholders
Document other insurance and member's demographic information from Allied vendor partners
Assist Enhanced Case Management Coordinator II with claims auditing as needed
Complete department auditing related to daily tasks to ensure accuracy and identify escalations
Maintain minutes in department and individual team meetings and archive proceedings
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
At least 1 year of administrative support experience, preferred
Understanding of basic medical terminology, such as CPT and HCPC
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegating as appropriate
