Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Shopper Marketing who will be responsible for developing and executing shopper marketing strategies, driving sales growth, and increasing brand awareness in the retail environment. You will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of instore retail marketing strategies and programs. You'll also be responsible for bringing brand strategy to life instore and deliver best in class plans to the sales team and customers that drives conversion through shopper messaging, supporting promotional plans, and innovative in store elements that drive velocity and household penetration. You'll report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work hybrid out of the Austin, TX satellite office.

How you'll help:

  • Programs: lead the development of retail programing and channel tools across on-premise and off-premise, cultivate relationships with retail and CPG marketing agencies, assess and recommend platforms to maximize return on investment by retailer, channel, and geography
  • Distributor: partner with Distributor network to build tools, assets, and programs
  • POS: oversee the development and execution of all our retail point of sale, continually reviewing and optimizing to drive commercial performance
  • Commercial Team Collaboration: align directly with Commercial Leadership to be a member of the Extended Sales Leadership Team
  • Shopper Insight: leverage syndicated data sources such as SPINs, Nielsen, and IRI, coupled with expertise in category management

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 7+ years of relevant shopper marketing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to keep stakeholders informed through concise and empathetic communication
  • Deep understanding of the nuances of the retail environment, experience in building trade marketing plans that have generated in market results and the ability to create an optimized investment strategy are a must
  • High emotional intelligence with an energetic attitude and strong knack for managing multiple projects and ambiguity
  • Reliable, team player who demonstrates leadership skills and an ability to manage-up to and communicate effectively
  • A strategic and collaborative team member that's able to be resourceful and nimble while also having the ability to further a larger, strategic scope
  • A team player who is eager to flex creatively and show continuous interest in learning and improving
  • Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and work with internal teams and external partners to lead initiatives to fruition and achieve desired outcomes and results

The pay range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors; actual pay offered may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Sales commissions and/or variable pay plans are also offered depending on the position (ex: monthly, quarterly, annual bonuses). Salary Range
$135,000$175,000 USD
