Job Summary:

This posting will establish and maintain a pool of part-time lecturers with experience teaching Health and Behavioral Sciences - Public Health courses in designated fields of the discipline, which may include specializations in areas such as, Population Health, Public Health, or courses within their area of expertise, for the Department of Health and Behavioral Sciences - Public Health in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver. By submitting your application, you will become part of an applicant pool. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval. Therefore, this posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Master's degree in any Health and Behavioral Sciences or Public Health related field.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous teaching experience.

* PhD in Health and Behavioral Sciences - Public Health or related field.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $1,496 per credit hour (lower division), $1,645 per credit hour (upper division and New Directions courses), or $1,808 per credit hour (graduate level).

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
