The Role

    Responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote USTA programs, digital products, and services for tennis coaches to drive engagement and foster the growth of quality and diverse tennis coaches to provide players with exceptional on-court experiences. This role involves a combination of both tactical and strategic responsibilities outlined below.
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Coach Marketing in the development of annual and long-term marketing plans for USTA programs, digital products, and services related to coaches.
  • Develop and support recommended strategies for engaging, acquiring, and retaining tennis coaches to increase the number of quality and diverse coaches that participate in USTA programs and digital products. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Execute marketing plans that could include: email offers, paid media, and other elements
  • Manage promotional offers and upsells
  • Support the development and execution of marketing and advertising materials across all channels and ensure brand consistency at all touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute direct marketing plans to drive coach engagement including 360 marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the rest of the CT Marketing team to ensure customer journey cohesion between coaches, players and facilities.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each marketing campaign and ensure alignment with broader strategic priorities and organizational goals.
  • Monitor marketing program results by developing a measurement and analytics plan in collaboration with internal analytics teams.
  • Evaluate and optimize campaigns and business as usual activities to achieve goals.
  • Support internal business units with day-to-day needs, including manual and collateral development.
  • Manage third-party vendors in the development, execution, and reporting of campaigns and any effort facilitated outside USTA channels

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Three to five years of experience in marketing
  • Experience in sports and entertainment is a plus
  • Strategic, creative thinker able to take initiative and work independently and within a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible with a positive attitude
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" and allows for both remote and on-site work
  • Occasional travel for agency meetings or events

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $60,000-68,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
