Summary/objective

As Lead, you will set the pace for your department. Balancing and leveraging the department's resources to meet the current company needs. This role is heavily involved in assisting their department to learn, develop, and become effective & efficient. Leads help to shape a department's culture, motivation, and environment. Team work, collaboration, good communication, empathy, and following proper procedures are keys to a Lead's success.

Essential functions

  • Step in as the primary backup for department leadership as needed
  • Delegate work to department to align with priorities set from Operations
  • Provide feedback to scheduling regarding job progress
  • Monitor and provide feedback to Leadership regarding individual performance of team members
  • Assist with CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) investigation and action plans
  • Act as a primary representative of your department and team members
  • Coordinate your department's involvement within the organization
  • Assist in creation of team member developmental plans
  • Identify training opportunities and assign out training as needed
  • Work to develop training programs and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance of team members' training within QT9
  • Act in accordance with and promote Jetseal's core values within team setting

Wage Range:

$19.50 - $22.50/hour

Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Required education and experience

  • Basic/moderate math skills

Physical demands

  • Sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Fine hand motor manipulation
  • Ability to use hand and foot controls

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Limited: Strong mentorship to department

Preferred education and experience

  • Previous department experience

Work authorization/security clearance requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US1
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Must meet pre-employment background screening requirements including those required under US Export Control Regulations (ITAR)2
