Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in the assisted living sector. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget variance analysis, forecasting, and trends related to revenue, expenses, and cash flow
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the financial performance of assisted living facilities and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with operational teams to understand business drivers and provide insights into financial data
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Medicare billing and reimbursement processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximizing revenue capture
  • Analyze financial data and metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for process improvement
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-range financial plans
  • Communicate complex financial information to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare or assisted living industry
  • Proven experience with Medicare billing, reimbursement processes, and related regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft BI, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
