Job Summary

Job Description

I. Responsibilities:

The Treasury Analyst participates in the day-to-day Treasury operations including cash management initiatives, banking relationships, banking platforms, month end reporting, hedge transactions, intercompany loans, and the company's credit card program. This position reports to the Treasury Manager and works closely with all Finance functions. The Treasury team has operations in the U.S. and Mexico and will work closely with Global Treasury colleagues in Japan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help maintain banking relationships and identify opportunities to enhance bank services and the customer experience
  • Manage all aspects of banking administration including maintenance of all bank accounts and authorized signers
  • Oversee daily cash position and initiation of wire transfers
  • Review monthly bank statements for accuracy and items which may need further attention
  • Support reporting requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles
  • Manage intercompany transactions and borrowing processes, reporting, repayments, and documentation
  • Manage foreign exchange and commodity hedge positions including placing trades and confirming the terms and conditions with counterparties
  • Oversee the company's credit card program
  • Develop and maintain Treasury policies and procedures and support SOX compliance
  • Support risk management and insurance programs
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Treasury function
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned

II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance-related field required
  • 0-2 years of finance or accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
  • High standards of data accuracy, attention to detail, commitment, and integrity
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills, customer service-oriented focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to solve problems using a team approach
  • Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external consultants and auditors
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines

IV. Relationship:

The Treasury Analyst will report to the Treasury Manager
