Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Project Manager in our U.S. Onshore Resources & Carbon Management, Commercial Development business unit located in Houston, Texas.

Project Manager is responsible to:

* Liaise with all BU functions to maintain an optimized and executable drilling and completions schedule based on the development plan, capital & production guidance, business needs, resource availability/capability & program readiness, with an emphasis on minimizing time-to-market (TTM).

* Provide all drilling, completions & online schedule inputs and assumptions for monthly capital and production forecasting / outlook process.

  • Work with team members to present ways of optimizing the drilling and completions schedule.

* Understand and provide visibility of key program risks, constraints, and critical path of program execution.

  • Use project management principles to facilitate cross functional communication between all departments (including the Development, Land, Surface Planning, Regulatory, Drilling, Completions, Asset, & Facilities) to ensure critical milestones and field development activities related to project planning and execution occur in a timely manner and meeting BU's expectations and objectives.
  • Lead weekly planning and execution meetings with representatives from across the entire business unit (30+ people).

* Track major milestones & handoff targets for section development through the well readiness process, and work with functional teams to expedite well delivery, address schedule changes, and monitor risk as they arise.

  • Manage and coordinate key well information (type curve, budget well types, WI/NRI, lease expirations, durations, etc) and understand how changes impact program decisions.
  • Communicate regularly with all disciplines and groups to ensure accuracy of inputs to the schedule and Well Execution Planner (WEP) system.

* Build, maintain, and communicate schedule contingency plans to allow maximum flexibility within the BU.

  • Weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities. Including performance reports (KPI's, metrics, scorecards, etc.) and ad-hoc requests. Analyze data and present key indicators and drivers of performance.

* Facilitate the Management of Change (MOC) process & tool, including overseeing the change request approval process.

* Provide technical, timing, and cost requirements to Supply Chain team for development of commercial strategies. Ensure data is gathered from function and technical resources to feed the demand planning process.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree, Engineering degree preferred

* 2-5 years experience in the oil and gas industry

* Knowledge of drilling and completions operations, preferably in the Permian Basin

* Scheduling tool experience: Actenum-DSO experience preferred

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

* Strong communication and listening skills

* Strong analytical, problem solving & critical thinking skills

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlines

* Resourceful and determined

  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic

* Team player
