Job Overview: As the Senior Director of Supplier Acceptance, you will play a critical role in expanding our B2B solutions by increasing virtual card acceptance volumes and driving revenue growth. This strategic position involves developing acceptance strategies and enhancing our acceptance programs, directly contributing to the success of FIS as one of our fastest-growing business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and execution of strategic partnerships, new products, and capabilities to enhance our supplier acceptance offerings.
  • Design and implement enablement strategies for mid to large market suppliers across various industry verticals, focusing on tailored solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a seasoned team of supplier enrollment experts, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product management teams to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Engage key industry leaders and suppliers with a strategic and consultative approach, understanding their specific needs and challenges in card acceptance.
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of sales pipelines, KPIs, and business development activities to ensure targets are met and exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in driving and securing new business in the financial services or technology sectors, with a solid track record of meeting substantial growth targets.
  • Deep understanding of the credit card industry, merchant acquiring specifics, and the financial dynamics of card processing including pricing strategies, cash flow optimization, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and transaction gateways, enhancing client capabilities in utilizing card payment solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively articulating complex solutions and value propositions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, and specifically in roles related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or billing solutions.
  • Direct experience in B2B issuing/acquiring product sales, business development, or supplier enrollment.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $171,910.00 - $288,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
