Job Description
KPMG LLP, Senior Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), Boston, MA. Review and analyze financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Prepare financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance purposes. Draft valuation reports for closely held and publicly traded companies. Utilize valuation methodologies in order to build financial reporting and tax valuation models. Oversee the delivery of valuation services. Prepare financial reports and proposals. Analyze the financial conditions of peer companies and review business plans. Research comparable publicly-traded companies. Apply in-depth technical accounting knowledge. Provide technical guidance and timely performance feedback to team members. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Purchase price allocation valuations; Analyzing goodwill and long-lived asset impairment; Supporting a company’s value for bidding or asking price plans; Financial analysis and research; Capital markets.

Travel to various locations throughout U.S. up to 5% is required.
