Job Description:

The Specialist, QA Document and Label Control handles the scheduling of batches through Label Control to meet production demand. They also address any mechanical issues that happen with the equipment. This person also helps in the creation and approval of any in-house printed label.

  1. Provide day to day guidance to Label Control personnel as appropriate.
  2. Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  3. Generate label designs for in-house labels using Bartender software through interactions with PMO, Planning, and Client.
  4. Monitor production schedule and Label Control inventory daily, using SAP and communicating with Purchasing, Planning, QA Incoming, and QA Release.
  5. Suggest, design, and implement updates to increase quality and efficiency of the Label Control process.
  6. Serve as QA representative on project teams.
  7. Create, revise, and implement department SOP's in Master Control.
  8. Monitor and complete change controls, deviations, and CAPA's in Trackwise.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-year of experience of inventory and materials management experience.
  • Must have forklift certification required or be obtained within 6 months of starting the position.
  • Manufacturing production and equipment operation experience is desired.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, excel, and SAP.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted. 14/14 corrected near-point vision, working in confined spaces, repetitive activity, pushing, pulling, twisting, and prolonged standing required.

Compensation:

  • This position starts at $29.00 per hour with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
