Description

The Engineering Intern will report directly to the Chief Engineer and will perform a multitude of duties as needed to assist his/her manager and the Engineering department as a whole. The Engineering Intern will work with a skilled team of Systems, Manufacturing, Design, and Product Engineers that are responsible for designing and developing the latest and most advanced Armor products on the market today. The Engineering department is a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and the individual in this position will need to be flexible and have the ability to prioritize and complete tasks as needed to meet deadlines and project goals. The Engineering Intern will assist with specialized tasks, to include reviewing complex technical materials, assisting with preparing and analyzing various test plan procedures, as well as assisting with the preparation of various reports and documentation as needed.

Assist with miscellaneous tasks and functions as needed by Engineering department personnel.
Review and compare system requirements documents to ensure customer standards are met.
Assist with preparing, commissioning, and analyzing test plan procedures, test results, and requirements.
Preparing presentation materials and other related documentation as needed by the department.
Assist with special project assignments as required to meet deadlines.
Assists with the development and evaluation of complex systems designs and architectures.
Supports activities related to preparing for and conducting formal test events.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST BE A US PERSON ELIGIBLE TO WORK FOR ANY EMPLOYER IN THE UNITED STATES
Recent degree, or currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program at a college or technical school.

SKILLS:
Required
Strong attention to detail, organized, and the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and complete tasks as needed.
Competency in, and effective use of, computer systems that are necessary to perform job responsibilities.
Skilled at writing and communicating clearly and effectively.
Ability to think independently and solve problems quickly and effectively.


Preferred
Ability to work in a professional, fast paced, and deadline driven environment.
Experience working both independently and within a Team environment.
