Position Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, data analysis, and audience segmentation.

You Will:

- Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute email campaigns, including promotional, lifecycle, transactional, and triggered emails.

- Create compelling email content, including subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action.

- Design and build visually appealing email templates that adhere to brand guidelines.

- Manage the email marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

- Segment email lists based on various criteria such as behavior, demographics, and engagement levels.

- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.

- Utilize A/B testing to optimize email content, design, and send times.

- Ensure email campaigns comply with industry regulations and best practices (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

- Monitor and maintain email deliverability rates, managing bounces, unsubscribes, and spam complaints.

- Utilize email marketing platforms, preferably Account Engagement (Pardot) and CRM systems to execute and track campaigns.

You Have:

- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong writing and speaking skills.

- Based in the Chicago area.

- 3+ years of experience in a similar setting, preferably in the direct marketing or email industry, with catalog experience preferred.

- Proven experience creating and deploying emails for web campaigns, including content design and intermittent coding (e.g., using Pardot with Salesforce).

- Familiarity with omni-channel marketing campaign analysis (paid search, email, social) and proficiency with Google AdWords.

- Strong computer skills, including word processing, Excel formulas and pivot tables, database programs, and HTML coding.

- Photoshop experience is a plus

- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings and translate results into actionable business improvements.

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, enjoys interacting with diverse audiences.
