Duties: Technical support for Reliability Growth through investigations and data collection. Technical support for Troubleshooting in order to ensure maximum train availability. Utilize base knowledge of the train and its systems (ex: high/low voltage systems, traction, network, software, bogie, drive functions, etc.) to support any technical activity on trains; this includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performing corrective actions, performing preventative actions, and performing investigations during Validation, Certification, and Commissioning in static and dynamic configurations. Provide support for field modifications. Populate relevant failure database (SES, GSI, Maximo, and FRACAS). Ensure train configuration control and relevant documentation management. Utilize work order and failure databases to escalate, communicate, and manage the necessary work across all working locations. Respect EHS (Safety and Healthy) rules and raise any EHS concerns for any work related processes. Support the training of other warranty team members (troubleshooters) for mechanical scope. Support the Validation period of the project by analyzing validation test data to determine whether systems or processes have met validation criteria or to identify root causes of production problems. Contribute to validation strategy by providing insights on testing setup and methodology. Prepare detailed reports or design statements based on results of validation and qualification tests or reviews of procedures and protocols. Maintain validation test equipment and schedule by active problem-solving and proper communication.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Warranty Implementation Field Engineer-related occupation.

Salary Range: $102,600/year to $125,400/year
