The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Program Performance Coordinator.

General Description
Broward County Office of Public Communications is a fast-paced, creative environment that develops public and employee print, digital and multi-media communications to promote awareness of County programs and services. This position is responsible for quality assurance and administrative support work for the Office of Public Communications (OPC). The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, experience as an office specialist, and an understanding of popular data analysis tools.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration or closely related field.

Requires four (4) years in quality assurance or systems analysis and/or in initiating, managing, coordinating, monitoring and/or evaluating contracts or grants or closely related experience, including two (2) years of supervisory or lead worker experience.

Special Certifications and Licenses
Possess and maintain a valid Florida Class E Driver's License based on area of assignment.

Preferences
Lean Six Sigma Certification
Previous government or tribal government experience and/or previous call center experience
Previous experience as a trainer/facilitator
Previous experience managing and /or working in a CMS or CRM platform
Intermediate level skill using analytical software (e.g. Microsoft Suite, Google Analytics, Site Improve, Archive Social)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Prepare and distribute reports at high levels across the organization. (eg. Performance Measures, Public Records Request activity, Social Media usage, and Website Quality Assurance reports).
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and methodologies to support enterprise-wide administration and oversight of assigned programs; maintain records of program performance activities conducted. Examples of OPC programs included are Monitoring, Public Record Request Program Administration, Social Media Administration and Website Quality Assurance/ADA Compliance.
  • Identify deficiencies in adherence to OPC program policies and procedures; recommend solutions; prepare and deliver training and other content to resolve identified issues.
  • Review and approve Public Record Request fee estimates prepared by agencies. Ensure estimates meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to agency employees, internal customers and user groups requesting clarification of OPC program policies and procedures.
  • Assist with new technology/system implementations, as required, to support administration of OPC-administered programs, including user acceptance testing.
  • Perform emergency duties, as required, as a member of Emergency Support Function (ESF) 14: Public Information, in activations of the Broward County Emergency Operations Center.
  • Perform related work and work on special projects, as assigned.
