Position Overview:

The Platforms team, in our Platforms & Intelligence division, handles the strategic setup, collection and analysis of data. We provide full-service support, starting with a comprehensive data strategy, operational expertise, and advance analytics to measure impactful outcomes.

Our dedicated team provides expert advice and practical guidance to help clients activate their datasets effectively. We connect clients' platforms and data strategies, aligning marketing and advertising technologies to support their business goals and future growth.

The Platforms & Intelligence division is seeking a Manager, Platforms to provide hands-on support for platform operations and services for its clients and internal stakeholders. This includes assisting on scheduled and ad-hoc analytic assignments that support syndication management, audience measurement, and decision-making for leadership.

This role will also involve handling and analyzing vast datasets to uncover insights and opportunities. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to support high-impact projects focused on process standardization, improvement, and integration of new tools and technologies to enhance platform operations and services for clients and internal stakeholders.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the client's data platform including but not limited to CDPs, cleanrooms, etc. Responsibilities include: deployment of the platforms, end-to-end audience management, and support in troubleshooting initiatives
  • Oversee and maintain data quality in our client's data platform(s), ensuring accurate and reliable data for audience segmentation and platform activation. Create audience insight reports or other relevant platform reports as needed
  • Manage cleanroom utilization, providing guidance for analysts in using SQL or Python to generate and analyze data to provide actionable insights within data visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to create and manage processes pertaining to data management (e.g., data hygiene, transformation, and loading (ETL) initiatives), platform management, and other cross functional collaboration work
  • Understand the use of 0, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data (both online and offline) and stay up-to-date on industry changes, challenges, and opportunities. Provide thought leadership and accomplish various marketing initiatives, including identity matching across datasets, audience curation and segmentation, platform activation, and data analysis consultation
  • Obtain and maintain certificates across major data platform providers as needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Relevant experience in marketing technology or data management role
  • Thrives in high-paced environments that sometimes require multitasking and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • A champion of numbers that takes pride in attention to detail to discover impactful opportunities in the data that drive meaningful outcomes for the business
  • Open-minded and curious about marketing technology, always looking to improve on a new way of using strategies and available tools to drive impact across internal teams and clients
  • Self-starter who is capable of running and leading a project, but willing to seek guidance as needed
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Good sense of time management, prioritization, and project management

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge in programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, JS) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, BI)
  • Certified or experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g. Google Marketing Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Adobe Audience Manager, Tealium Customer Data Hub, Zeta Marketing Platform etc.)
  • Proficient in marketing terminology such as metrices used in KPI reports (e.g. ROA's, CPC, CPM, CTR, etc)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and advertising tools (e.g. The Trade Desk, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, CM360, DV360)
  • Experience in project management (e.g. Asana, Sharepoint) and data management tools (e.g. Google Cloud, Snowflake, Lotame Data Management Platform)
