Job Description
Purpose of Position

The Supervisor, Owner Accounting is responsible for high touch customer service with EJM clients and other internal/external customers. Oversees day to day work of Owner Accounting Coordinators assigned to their team. Assists them with Owner accounting and invoicing. Completes assigned client invoicing and approving, responds to Owner questions and concerns, and troubleshoots day to day issues.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the daily activities of team members to include the review and reconciliation of Owner invoices, review and approval of team time sheets, and time off requests. Provides coaching and training to team members, prepares performances reviews and serves as the first line of contact for Owner Accounting team members. Assist the Manager with goal planning, process improvements, and workload management
  • Responsible for direct processing of assigned client invoices. Collaborates with the EJM Owner Reporting team to provide financial statements to clients. Maintains ownership of all transactional details relating to flight activity of assigned clients. Approves crew T&E expenses and other expenses related to assigned clients. Internal and external liaison for all financial matters relating to client invoicing activity.
  • Responsible for month end close activities including reconciling owner pass through expenses, reviewing aircraft and trip profitability, reviewing and reconciling owner management fees and crew salaries.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external customers, including direct interaction with third parties involved in the receipt or payment of invoices. Act as a liaison between the owner's finance team and other departments at EJM. Additionally ensure that employees within the group are maintaining similar relationships and providing the highest possible quality interaction with all types of customers.
  • Assist the owner accounting team in contract review, onboarding and offboarding clients, and any ad hoc billing requests or projects.

  • Ability to understand and read contracts.
