Job Description
Technical Coordinator

Onsite in Irvine, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate with various Navien personnels regarding product issues, changes, and new product development on assigned product(s)
  • Routinely update and distribute new technical information to Technical Managers and team members
  • Assist in quality control measures including return unit/parts testing and field reported issues on all Navien products, assist on NavienMate products as needed
  • Research new technological developments and regulation changes in the market to assist in product development
  • Coordinate and support testing/operations of new and ongoing prototype testing and installations in the field
  • Visit various residential and commercial sites with others to provide technical and translating support
  • Assist in improving existing technical information, communications, and processes for Navien-to-outside communications (manuals, technical bulletins, training, etc.)
  • Maintain open communication with other departments and/or outside sales representatives in the resolution of issues or concerns
  • Assist in purchasing various HVAC tech related equipment and parts based on HQ's request
  • Coordinate high priority domestic and international shipments utilizing DHL, FedEx, a freight forwarder, and other shipping methods
  • Utilize SAP and other Navien proprietary software to gather data, support personnels, and update product information
  • Once per quarter, travel domestically or to Canada for 2 to 3 days

Requirements:
  • One year of proven hands-on technical capability
  • Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write Korean
  • Ability to translate technical documents from Korean to English
  • Experience or understanding of Korean work culture
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Effective collaboration and team player
  • Organizational, time management and priority skills are a must
  • One a quarter, ability to travel domestically or to Canada for 2-3 days

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in an HVAC or plumbing industry a plus
  • Experience in SAP a plus

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
