The Financial Center Specialist 1 is responsible for supporting the supervisor in providing exceptional client service, operational and audit excellence, while attracting new clients and cross selling loans, deposits, and other bank products and services as needed.

This position will be required to travel to branches in the Northshore area.

Required:

  • GED or High school diploma.
  • Previous Cross-Selling and Sales experience.
  • Ability to effectively cross-sell and work with other lines of business.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as calculators and PC's.
  • Must be able to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays.
  • Must be able to achieve SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act/NMLS.
  • Must be able to achieve sales/marketing financial goals as set forth by management.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related business field. Four years of related experience can be substituted for the degree
  • One or more years of retail banking experience.
  • Satisfactory completion of an in-house training program or other approved training program.
  • Excellent knowledge of all retail financial institution products and services.
  • Experience in other banking functions, such as bank sales, operations, and customer service.

Specific Job Functions:

  • Assumes the responsibilities of the supervisor in their absence.
  • Contributes to all financial center goals.
  • Engages in consultative conversations with clients to build relationships, cross-sell, and promote Fidelity's products and services.
  • Opens new deposit accounts and processes consumer loan applications.
  • Performs teller duties as necessary to maintain efficient customer service standards.
  • Assists with mentoring associates
  • Maintains knowledge of all Fidelity's products and services.
  • Assists in vault responsibilities as needed.
  • Makes phone calls to clients and prospects.
  • Adheres to all bank policies and procedures.
  • Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability.
  • Performs other duties as appointed by management.
